25 Random Things - the Facebook Addiction

Yesterday, was Wednesday. And, as I've been participating in the Wordless Wednesday meme, apparently, I hit the nail on the head. I was indeed "wordless" ... and "pictureless" ... and somehow my facebook community has prodded me with guilt ridden tags to do the 25 random things ... so I'm killing two birds with one stone ... so there.

And stop tagging me! (please?)

Rules:
Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you.

---> this is the Facebook version (To do this, go to "notes" under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.)<----end Facebook version
1. I'm thinking of starting a Facebook Anonymous Fan page ... for those people (like me) who have completely immersed themselves in the cult and actually need to work the 12 steps so they can get other things done (bathing, eating, sleeping, working, etc.).
2. I always have a soundtrack of songs running in my head - it drowns out the other voices most of the time.
3. I am a die-hard Steelers Fan. Seriously.
4. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA - see #3 - and have spots on my lungs apparently caused by the pollution in the 70's - or at least I did in 1986.
5. If I could ask for just one thing each birthday, I would ask for snow. My birthday is January 11 - when it snows on my birthday, it feels magical.
6. I spent 3 of my last 4 birthdays on a plane.
7. I am related (3rd cousin) to Rico Petrocelli, former 3rd baseman for the Boston Red Sox.
8. I'm grateful that my friends Randy and Jeff who are die-hard Yankee Fans still talk to me because of my affiliation (see #7).
9. One of my favorite things to do is to laugh so hard, I cry.
10. Oh, and I cry at just about anything.
11. Being able to play, read, or just spend time with my son, is one of my greatest joys in life. I wouldn't trade that time for anything.
12. Although, having "me time" is really cool too.
13. I love to be around people who make me laugh (especially the ones that make me laugh so hard, I cry ... I married my favorite).
14. The first thing I notice about people is their smile. It makes me sad if they don't have one.
15. I love music - see #2, most genres (although I can't think of a rap song that speaks to me ... and I inadvertently used 50 cent lyrics in an email without editing them ... and have been embarrassed about it for 3 years - why oh why couldn't it have been the Hallelujah chorus?).
16. I never thought I was a cat person until I had one for over 13 years.
17. My cat never liked anyone I dated until she met Doug. And he didn't like her. She knew. But I think she won him over in the end.
18. I have always liked dogs and have had several, one for 16 years, the other for 7. Yes, I'm older than that, but there was that cat thing ...
19. I'm an approval whore and want people to like me ... right - like you guys haven't figured that out. But at least I've recognized it - it is what it is. I will leave you alone if you don't like me, eventually.
20. I tried to give up caffeine once ... I lasted close to 2 years - the year I was pregnant, and the year after ... and I will never do that again.
21. I love to read.
22. As much I love being the center of attention, or so people tell me, I hate public speaking, it makes me nauseous.
23. Doing the Thanksgiving Half Marathon with Esther and the Jingle Jog with Kel cemented the fact that running a race with friends is much more fun than running a race alone.
24. Completing a full marathon on my own (until mile 25 when met by my coaches) was a life changing accomplishment - right up there with motherhood IMHO.
25. I have never been more excited to finish a list than I am at this moment.
